1. Preparation
The vehicle surface must be perfectly clean and degreased. Any paint imperfections should be corrected before film application.
- Cleaning: Use OS-C-010 Surface Cleaner for safe and thorough removal of dust, fallout, wax and engine grime.
- Degreasing: Finish with OS-C-020 Degreaser to ensure maximum adhesion.
- ⚠️ Never use isopropyl alcohol (IPA) — it can damage the paint and reduce film performance.
2. Measuring & Cutting
Omega-Skinz films are designed for both digital templates with Shape Central Cutting Software and manual cutting.
- Digital pre-cut templates guarantee a precise fit and minimize waste.
- For custom projects, use professional plotters or sharp blades on a cutting mat.
- Always measure accurately to prevent overstretching the material.
3. Positioning the Film
Position the film onto the panel using water and the
OS-T-600-SNG Slide ’n Glide Slip Solution.
- This solution allows controlled movement of the film during alignment.
- Align to body lines and edges before fixing the film.
- Work calmly and methodically — rushing leads to trapped air or tension.
4. Application & Squeegee
Use professional PPF squeegees for a controlled and bubble-free installation. Always work from the center outward, with firm and even strokes.

Choose the right squeegee for the panel size and shape:
- Larger squeegees for wide body panels.
- Smaller squeegees for curves and tight corners.
- Magnetic squeegee when working hands-free on large areas.
